I highly recommend the Weather Channel. They’ve kept me riveted since 2 and they seem to only hire VERY attractive people…and Al Roker.

pre-storm: head inland for boozefest
day of storm: head to the shore with reduced booze supply

I may be overreacting, BUT
when the organizer for this book I’m contributing to goes on and on about sending the entire project to the publisher this week, I do get a bit nervous when he hasn’t gotten back to me with edits on my latest draft. I mean, he’s had it for a week now and had indicated it would be a quick turnaround!

for the last two days, the crazy event manager has been copying my half up/half down hairstyle. the thing is, I rock this look. big time. she, however, looks ridiculous and it makes me want to laugh everytime she comes to give me some bizarre task to do (like send the photos on her blackberry to her email account, cause she can’t figure that one out on her own).
point is, until she gives up...
